Cloud Messenger

Smruthi Bala Kannan

I sent one from a train,
last night.
It is simple.

You can even customize
time,
warp.
But, they don't let you
name or address.
They know
you.

I let a corner drop
from the window bar
drip
on my index finger-tip.
It stood and waited.
They usually do.

A deep gaze or a
stare
is my preferred medium.
A sigh inclusive, sometimes.
A final smile or a frown is perfect to seal.

Wait for the carrier-wind
or use a little heat
- a palm rub, just enough.
Humans may stamp
over otherwise.

It reaches, i know.

Its recyclable, too.
Only, could you check for pronoun-sensitivity?

  1. The message is beautifully crafted. I hope the message reaches the concerned recipient. It would be a pity if they dont ever get to read it :-)
